桐昆集团:“中国制造”模范生

  37年深耕化纤行业的桐昆集团股份有限公司(以下简称“桐昆集团”)一直是“中国制造”的模范生:其是世界涤纶长丝企业产能和产量之首的龙头企业;连续17年荣登中国企业500强;从1991年至今,实现了“五无”:无年度亏损、无对外担保借款、无销售应收款项、无产品积压库存、无停产减产。

  “在新的时代,桐昆集团要成为一个产能超千万的‘全产业链企业’、‘先进化纤制造企业’和‘绿色智能企业’。”在桐昆集团董事长陈士良看来,高质量的发展,一定是绿色、协调、可持续、以人为本的发展,为中国制造赢得世界尊敬是新时代企业家义不容辞的责任与担当。

  创新擎起国家级大旗

  今年7月,桐昆集团捧回“国家企业技术中心”这一沉甸甸的牌子,再次聚焦全国目光。这个牌子,代表桐昆集团拥有行业内最高研究水平。

  “自主创新是‘中国制造’与生俱来的使命和责任,我们必须不断进行技术创新,打造中国精品。”说出这句话时,桐昆集团企业技术中心主任孙燕琳的脸上满是骄傲。

  1991年,桐昆集团成立企业技术中心,开启涤纶长丝自主研发工作。2003年获得了省级企业技术中心称号。面对国内聚酯纤维产业自主创新能力不强、结构性产能过剩、差别化率低、功能单一和单位能耗大等问题,桐昆集团企业技术中心勇于担当,争当行业排头兵,参与国家产业振兴和重大技术改造,积极推动行业技术创新和进步。先后主持参与“十五”—“十三五”多项国家科技支撑计划,主持“2016年绿色制造系统集成项目”,主持“2017年行业智能制造示范项目”,参与“2017年国家重点研发计划专项”,主持“2018年智能制造综合标准化与新模式应用项目”、“2018年智能制造试点示范项目”,承担了9项国家火炬计划等多项国家、省级科研项目。通过主持参与国家项目,不仅取得了一系列科技成果和自主知识产权,还曾荣获国家科技进步二等奖和省部级以上科技进步奖励25项。

  惟创新者进,惟创新者强,惟创新者胜。截至目前,桐昆集团共申报专利591项,拥有的专利覆盖设备、工艺、产品、节能降耗四大领域;主持、参与已实施发布的国际、国家、行业标准40项,涤纶长丝领域过半数以上的国家和行业标准都由桐昆主持或参与制定。

  智造树立行业样本

  进入新时代,加快信息化与工业化融合、推进智能制造、促进产业转型升级、实现由大变强,是中国制造抢占未来产业制高点的必由路径。

  桐昆集团也在用自己的实践践行着这一路径。

  今年8月,桐昆集团与浙江中控签署双方战略合作协议,双方将成为长期的战略合作伙伴,在智能化技术、智能工厂建设、新技术应用等领域展开深度合作。以即将上马的恒邦四期项目,即桐昆年产30万吨绿色智能化纤项目为例,最为关键的“中枢大脑”——DCS集散控制系统将根据此次双方所签协议,由浙江中控负责开发设计,这将有效解决我国化纤制造设备在该领域长期面临“卡脖子”、依赖国外设备商的难题。

  早在与中控合作之前,桐昆集团就一直不断加码智能制造,通过“机器换人”撬动企业转型升级。从2012年起,公司先后投入7亿元对多个企业(厂区)实施机器换人,到目前已累计减少用工五千余人,日均产量增长到超万吨。

  作为化纤全行业推进智能制造、打造智慧工厂的“样板项目”,桐昆的恒邦二期不仅能有效应对制造业面临的人工成本上涨、用工难等普遍性难题,更能大大提高企业的劳动生产率和全产业链流程运行效率,从而找到在新常态下驱动企业持续增强竞争力的新动能。同时,桐昆集团作为龙头企业的探索和实践,也为我国化纤行业由传统模式向智能化模式转型升级起到重要的示范引领作用,并作出生动注脚。

  绿色致力大企担当

  今年1月,桐昆集团股份有限公司与浙江省排污权交易中心签订战略合作协议,预示着双方将在绿色发展指标设计、绿色发展评价体系创建、企业绿色发展建设等方面开展更深层次的资源共享与交流合作,为践行“绿色发展”环境理念、加强生态文明建设而共同奋斗。

  在纺织化纤全行业着力推进绿色制造的浪潮中,桐昆集团一直在持续提高产品品质和技术水平的基础上坚持绿色发展和绿色制造的理念,走资源节约和环境友好的绿色发展之路。在生产环节,桐昆集团先后开发了废旧聚酯纤维循环再生等多项先进技术;在产品方面,桐昆集团目前已开发出多种绿色涤纶长丝产品,下一步将在做大做强常规涤纶产品的基础上,继续扩大绿色纤维产品的产量……

  2017年5月,桐昆收购浙江石油化工有限公司20%股权,与国内大型企业荣盛石化、巨化集团等一起,合力拓展石化上游业务,总投资1730亿元,进军上游产业链。该项目位于舟山绿色石化基地,将按照“五位一体”总体布局和“四个全面”战略布局,贯彻落实“创新、协调、绿色、开放、共享”的发展理念进行建设。对于此举,陈士良表示,“作为龙头企业,我们理应为我国的绿水青山建设承担更多责任,下一步随着在上游的布局进一步打通,桐昆还将推动PX-PTA-聚酯-涤纶-加弹整条产业链的绿色制造,为打造‘百年桐昆,永续经营’奠定坚实基础。”

  Tongkun Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Tongkun Group) has always been an exemplary producer of “Made in China” during 37 years of hard work in the chemical fiber industry. It is a world-leading polyester filament enterprise with the most production capacity and production yield and China's top 500 enterprises for 17 consecutive years; from 1991 till now, "five NOs" have been realized by Tongkun, i.e., no annual losses, no external guarantee loans, no sales receivables, no product backlog and no production stoppage.

  “In the new era, Tongkun Group will become a ‘whole industry chain’, ‘advanced chemical fiber manufacturer’ and ‘green intelligent enterprise’ with more than 10 million production capacity.” In the view of Chen Shiliang, chairman of Tongkun Group, high-quality development must be green, coordinated, sustainable and people-oriented. It is incumbent on entrepreneurs in the new era to win world respect for Chinese manufacturing.

  Innovation: Holding up the National Banner

  In July of this year, Tongkun Group won the valuable honor of “National Enterprise Technology Center” that once again had the attention from the whole country. This honor represents Tongkun has the highest research level in the industry.

  "Independent innovation is the innate mission and responsibility of 'Made in China'. We must constantly carry out technological innovation and build Chinese quality products," Sun Yanlin, director of the Enterprise Technology Center of Tongkun Group, said proudly.

  In 1991, Tongkun Group established the Enterprise Technology Center to start the independent research and development of polyester filament yarn. In 2003, it was awarded the title of Provincial Enterprise Technology Center. Faced with the problems of weak independent innovation ability of domestic polyester fiber industry, structural overcapacity, low differential rate, single function and large energy unit consumption, Tongkun Group Enterprise Technology Center has bravely taken the step to lead in the industry and participated in the national industry revitalization and major technological transformations, actively promoting technological innovation and progress in the industry. This center has subsequently hosted a number of national science and technology support programs for the “10th Five-Year Plan” to “13th Five-Year Plan”, the “2016 Green Manufacturing System Integration Project”, the “2017 Industry Intelligent Manufacturing Demonstration Project”, the “2018 Intelligent Manufacturing Integrated Standardization and New Model Application Project” and “2018 Intelligent Manufacturing Pilot Demonstration Project”, participated in the “2017 National keypoint Research and Invention Program”, and undertook several national and provincial scientific research projects including 9 National Torch Program. Through hosting and participating in national projects, it has not only achieved a series of scientific and technological achievements and independent intellectual property rights, but also won Second Class Prize for the State Scientific and Technological Progress Award and 25 Provincial and Ministerial Scientific and Technological Progress Awards.

  Only those who make innovations can develop, improve and win. Up to now. Tongkun Group has applied for a total of 591 patents, covering four major fields of equipment, procedures, products, energy conservation and consumption reduction; hosted and participated in the creation, implementation and publicity of 40 international, national and industrial standards and more than half national and industrial standards of polyester filaments industry.

  Intelligent Manufacturing: Building up the Industry Examples

  In the new era, speeding up the integration of information and industrialization, advancing intelligent manufacturing, promoting industrial transformation and upgrading to be stronger is the only way for China Manufacturing to be NO. 1 in the future.

  Tongkun Group is also exploring this path with its own practice.

  In August of this year, Tongkun Group and SUPCON signed a strategic cooperation agreement to establish long-term strategic partnership and carry out in-depth cooperation in the fields of intelligent technology, smart factory construction and new technology application. Taking the Heng Bang Phase IV project, i.e. the Tongkun Green Intelligent Fiber Project with an annual output of 300000 tons, which is about to be launched, as an example, the most critical "central brain"-DCS distributed control system-will be developed and designed by SUPCON in accordance with the agreement signed by the two sides. This will effectively solve the long-existing "sticking neck" problem that chemical fiber manufacturing equipment in China is relying entirely on foreign equipment manufacturers for a long time.

  Long before the cooperation with SUPCON, Tongkun Group has been increasing the input in intelligent manufacturing, leveraging enterprise transformation and upgrading through the “machine substitution”. Since 2012, the company has invested 700 million yuan to implement machine substitution for multiple enterprises (plants). Up to now, it has reduced the number of employees by more than 5,000 while the average daily output has increased to over 10,000 tons.

  As a “model project” for chemical fiber industry to promote smart manufacturing and build smart factories, Hengbang Phase II of Tongkun can not only effectively cope with the general problems of increasing labor costs and employment difficulties faced by the manufacturing industry, but also greatly improve the labor productivity and the operation efficiency of the whole industrial chain process, thus finding the new kinetic energy to drive the enterprises to continuous competitiveness enhancement under the new normal condition. At the same time, the exploration and practice of Tongkun Group as a leading enterprise has also played an important role in the demonstration and transformation of China's chemical fiber industry from the traditional mode to the intelligent mode, which has made a vivid footnote.

  Green: Taking up Responsibilities as an Big Enterprise

  In January of this year, Tongkun Group Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Zhejiang Emission Right Trading Center, laying the foundation for the two parties to carry out deeper resource sharing and cooperation in the aspects of green development index design, green development evaluation system creation and enterprise green development construction, etc, in order to work together to practice the "green development" environmental concept and strengthen the construction of ecological civilization.

  In the wave of green manufacturing promotion in textile and chemical industry, Tongkun Group has been adhering to the concept of green development and green manufacturing on the basis of continuous improvement of product quality and technical level, taking the road of resource conservation and environmental friendly green development. In the production process, Tongkun Group has developed a number of advanced technologies such as waste polyester fiber recycling; in terms of products, Tongkun Group has developed a variety of green polyester filament products with its next step to continue the expansion of the green fiber products output on the basis of stronger and more massive normal polyester products...

  In May 2017, Tongkun acquired a 20% stake of Zhejiang Petrochemical Co., Ltd., together with domestic large-scale enterprises Rongsheng Petrochemical and Juhua Group, to jointly expand the petrochemical upstream business and enter the upstream industrial chain with a total investment of 173 billion yuan. The project is located in Zhoushan Green Petrochemical Base and will be constructed in accordance with the “five in one” overall layout and “four comprehensive” strategic layout, implementing the development concept of “innovation, coordination, green, openness and sharing”. For this move, Chen Shiliang said, “As a leading enterprise, we should assume more responsibility for green hills and clear water construction of China. Next, with the further layout in the upstream opened up, Tongkun will also promote the green manufacturing of the entire industrial chain of PX-PTA- polyester-elastic, laying a solid foundation for the creation of ‘hundred years of Tongkun, with sustainable management’.”
